Jonathan Huff, P.E.
Jon Huff is Vice President of Goettle in Cincinnati, Ohio. He earned a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and is a professional engineer. In his leadership role at Goettle, he contributes to engineering design, estimating, project management, and relationship building for design-build projects involving augered cast-in place piles, micropiles, and anchored earth retention systems. He is a former chairman of the Cincinnati Section of the ASCE Geotechnical Group and is an active member of PDCA and ADSC. He chairs DFI’s ACIP and DD piles Committee and serves on the Board of Trustees for DFI’s Educational Trust.

- Lateral Stresses During DD Pile Installation – Monitoring installation of small-scale drilled displacement piles to assess radial effect and extent of lateral stresses and displacements
- Evaluation of In Situ ACIP Pile Volume – Conducting thermal integrity profiling on ACIP test piles and analyze to assess in place diameter
- Seismic Performance of Rigid Inclusions – numerical simulation study of rigid inclusions installed in liquefiable soils to show the effect of various design parameters and demonstrate how coupled use of typical site response and lateral loading analyses that practitioners perform on a daily basis can sufficiently capture the critical aspects of our research findings
